Bush to Host Spain's Aznar January 14 at White House
Spain among closest U.S. allies in anti-terror war,
liberation of Iraq
President Bush will meet with Jose Maria Aznar, president of the
government of Spain, January 14 at the White House, and will host a
dinner in his honor that evening.

Statement by the Press Secretary
VISIT OF PRESIDENT JOSE MARIA AZNAR OF SPAIN
President Bush will welcome Spanish President Aznar to the White
House for a meeting on January 14, 2004. The President and Mrs. Bush
will also host a dinner in honor of President and Mrs. Aznar that
evening. Spain stands among America's closest allies in the war on
terrorism and the effort to bring peace and democracy to Iraq. Spain
is a valuable member of NATO and proponent of close U.S.-European
relations.
