Danny Glover/Felix Justice to Visit Israel

In Commemoration of African-American Heritage Month

Hollywood star Danny Glover and actor/director Felix Justice will be in Israel February 15 as guests of the Public Affairs Office, United States Embassy, Tel Aviv, where they will help us celebrate African-American Heritage Month.

Danny Glover, a native of San Francisco, received widespread critical acclaim for his part in the Academy Award-winning film Places in the Heart and earned an Emmy nomination for his role in the top-rated television mini-series Lonesome Dove. Danny Glover brings to life uniquely African-American words and rhythms. He is a veteran of more than 50 films including The Color Purple, Witness, Lethal Weapon, and Silverado.

Felix Justice, a native of Florence, S.C., and an actor and director for nearly 30 years, studied theater under Robert Johnson and John Collins in San Francisco and Julie Bovasso in New York. His one-man show on Martin Luther King, Jr., toured widely in the United States and Africa.
