Western Union Quick Pay Service

Beginning on November 1, 2004, nonimmigrant students and exchange visitors (F-1, M-1, J-1) are able to pay the I-901 SEVIS fee locally via the use of the Western Union Quick Pay service. The service is currently available in over 130 countries worldwide and provides an additional payment option for many foreign students and exchange visitors. Samples of the Western Union Quick Pay form can be seen on the Student and Exchange Visitor Program website at www.ice.gov/sevis. As proof of payment, the applicant must present to the consular officer at the time of the interview a Western Union receipt with the words "Western Union" and "Payment Services" or "Quick Pay" printed in English or other applicable language. The "Company name" line under the "Pay to" section should read “US Bank DHS.” The "Company code" line under the "Pay to" section should read FMSEVISFEE, MO or JSEVISFEE, MO. The "Country" line under the "Pay to" section should read “USA.” The receipt will also include the first and last name, address, telephone number, and account number (the SEVIS number, combined with the applicant's date of birth) to identify the applicant.
