Exchange Rate

The Embassy is very pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Israel Postal Corporation to implement a new exchange rate mechanism.  From now on, visa applicants will be able to obtain up-to-the minute rates when they pay the Machine Readable Visa fee at Israel Postal Bank.  This new procedure should reduce the total cost of applying for a visa to the closest amount in Shekels possible to the actual $131 dollar fee.

השגרירות שמחה להודיע שהושג הסכם בין השגרירות לבין דואר ישראל על שיטה חדשה לתשלום האגרה עבור הויזה. החל מהיום מבקשי הויזות יוכלו לשלם את האגרה על סך 131$ לפי השער היציג של הדולר לאותו יום.
